6 Ways to Grow Your Natural Hair
Nurturing my curly hair is a challenging journey, but with consistency, efficient care methods, and patience I was able to achieve healthy hair. Here are some tips that helped me along the way:
MOISTURIZATION
Moisturization is key. To thrive my hair needs moisture. My go to is a a leave-in conditioner or argan oil to pret breakage.
BONNET BABY
I am loyal to a satin or silk bonnet and scarf. This prevented my hair from rubbing against my pillowcase. This method prevented breakage and protected my hair as I toss and turn at night.
BURN BABY
Minimized heat tools reduced damage to my curls. Instead, I opted for twist outs, braid outs, or roller sets.
TRIM THOSE ENDS
I trimmed my ends approximately 3-4 months to minimize breakage and keep my hair healthy.
I LIKE TO EAT EAT EAT!
Eating a balanced diet filled my body with vitamins and minerals that are essential for healthy hair growth. I focused on eating greens, whole grains, and lean protein to support my hair growth.
Water Waves
I drink water to properly hydrate my body so that my hair does not become brittel and break off.
By committing to these 6 tips I was able to create a healthy hair journey. Remember that each person’s hair jorney is different. You have to experiment with different products and hairstyles to determine what is most effective for your hair.
